Royal Ascot General Public, Ascot Racecourse

To supply temporary loos for the General Public for the 5 day race meeting in multiple locations across the venue. Servicing tens of thousands of visitors during the event, the loos to be built inside a range of structures of varying size allowing a high volume footfall with ease of access and minimum queuing.

IGLOOS used the hard wearing but practical Panelledrange. Itemssuchaswalling, basins and mirrors were selected for their simple but durable nature without appearing too sophisticated. The structures were of variable dimensions and loos were constructedtoaccommodate different configurations and obstacles such as trees growing through the middle. All loos operated on a fresh water system flushing directly into the mains drain with minimal need for pumps.

Installation commenced approx 1 month before event.
